Most interview prep tools give you a list of generic questions. “Tell me about yourself.” “Where do you see yourself in five years?” Useful, but not what actually trips people up.
What trips people up is a hiring manager pointing at a specific bullet on their resume and asking them to justify a number, explain a decision, or walk through a system they built two years ago and have since half-forgotten.
Those questions are entirely predictable — if you know where to look. Your resume is the script. An interviewer is going to read it line by line and probe anything that sounds interesting, vague, or suspiciously impressive.
